My Weekend So Far...

Went for a meetup today at DELIcious at Bangsar Village II.
Was in the general area an hour before with intention to wander around for a little bit. When I was looking for parking, I saw about a dozen DBKL enforcement officers busy issuing summonses to the double parked, and other forms of illegal parking.
Miraculously, I found an empty, legal parking spot right outside BV II (woo hoo!). But I didn't see the parking meters and I was worried that I might get a ticket myself, so I found an officer (who had this white guy, possibly trying to talk his way out of his own ticket for parking in front of the hydrant) and clarified the matter.
Anyway, food was good, company was good. No attempts were made to steal a menu. I had the shepherd's pie and some mango drink (don't know the full name) which had bits of kaffir lime leaf (limau purut) - the pie wasn't bad (small enough for people with small apetites, like yours truly) and it came with a small salad (more like few leaves coated in dressing), but it was hard picking around the beans. Drink was okay, but I wouldn't order it again in a hurry. Some of the pasta dishes came highy recommended, but the portions are too much for me.
